The 24th September is a Very Big Day

Earlier this week I heard the fantastic news that I've been chosen by the network of youth inputting into sustainable development topics at the UN to speak at the High Level Political Forum in less that 2 weeks time. To simplify that - I'm going to be speaking on behalf of youth at an event where the other speakers are Prime Ministers and Presidents. Safe to say, I'm super excited!

Amidst my busy work schedule, getting everything prepared for New York, and putting the finishing touches to the 'We Discover, We Grow' exhibition (which also opens the same day I'm speaking) it has been a very busy couple of weeks. The 24th September is going to be a very big day and the build up is intense.

I hope to be able to share the link to the webcast of the UN event nearer to the time, although thinking that nobody is watching me would probably do a lot more for my nerves! There will also be the customary tweets from the @WAGGGSdelegates account and (hopefully) daily blogs on www.wagggsworld.org to keep you updated.

On top of this, if you find yourself in Peterborough, drop by the Museum and check out 'We Discover, We Grow'. It's up until the 3rd November so there's plenty of time, and I'd love to know what you think. Over the course of the exhibition I hope to do a few more blog entries further exploring the messages behind some of the photographs, so even if you are a million miles away you will see a few of the included works.

Till next time.
